Check the receiving player identity first, then classify the missing item as a table balance change, an in-game reward, a store purchase or a separate offer. Keep the relevant timestamp and receipt privately. Repeating a purchase is not a reliable way to investigate the first one.
Begin with the account that should own the item
If a balance changes after signing in differently or moving phones, you may be looking at another identity. Compare the player ID, not just the name. A guest session and a supported connected account should not be assumed to share balances. Before doing anything else, note which identity was active when the reward or purchase was initiated.
The game uses virtual chips. Octro’s published tutorial describes those chips as having no real-money value. An optional purchase can buy an in-game resource without making that resource withdrawable. Do not combine the number shown in the lobby with the currency amount on a store receipt.
Classify the event
| Type of issue | Useful evidence | Appropriate route |
|---|---|---|
| A table changed the balance unexpectedly | Player ID, table reference if shown, time and before/after figures | Developer support for the particular game event. |
| An in-game reward did not appear | Reward name, completion or claim message and timestamp | The game’s current help flow. |
| A store purchase was charged | Store order reference, status and receiving game account | The store and developer routes relevant to delivery or a purchase request. |
| An external offer did not credit | Offer provider, offer description and completion evidence | The offer’s own current support route, if the game identifies one. |
For a store purchase, use the original receipt
Open your store purchase history and inspect the transaction status. Pending, declined and completed are different outcomes. Keep the order reference and time privately, then verify that the game is using the intended account. The receipt can establish a transaction without establishing that the currently visible guest identity should receive it.
Do not publish payment information in a review or a comment, and do not make a second purchase simply to test whether delivery works. The relevant service decides delivery corrections and any refund eligibility. This publication cannot promise a waiting period, credit an account or reverse a transaction.
For an offer or advert reward, identify the source
An in-app reward and an offer provided by another service can have different completion conditions and support records. Read the current reward screen, including any provider name or help link. Preserve the completion message before leaving it. Older Octro help material refers to external offer support, but you should not assume an old provider or button still applies to the offer on your phone.
If the game confirms completion but no item appears, record one clear example. Repeating many offers can create a long list of different events while leaving the original problem unexplained. Do not install unrelated tools or share account access with someone claiming they can credit the reward manually.
A report that separates the facts
On [date and time zone], player [private ID] used [named reward, table or purchase]. The screen showed [completion or transaction status]. I expected [specific item] and received [actual result]. My app version is [version] on [device]. I can provide [private receipt or screenshot] for this event.
If you discovered a second account during the check, include that fact and the sign-in routes involved. If the event happened during a disconnect, give its timing without assuming the connection caused the missing item. A factual sequence is more useful than an unsupported technical diagnosis.
What to keep while waiting
Retain the original receipt or reward screenshot and any support reference. Avoid clearing storage or removing the app until you understand the recovery route for the relevant player identity. You can add requested evidence to an existing case rather than create many unrelated conversations.
For prevention, check table conditions before joining, set a session length and leave purchase decisions until you are away from a frustrating round. A virtual-chip shortage is a reason to stop and decide what you want from the game, not an obligation to make another purchase.
